Membership Milestone!

We just passed 400 members on Roster, and we wanted to say thank you.

Roster started with a simple goal: a Roster of designers looking for work, and a place that makes it easy to get them hired. Four hundred designers later, it's starting to feel like a real community. Every one of you showed up with real work and a real profile, and that's what makes this worth building.

What you've built

Roster only works because of what you share. Here's what 400+ designers have put into it:

• Profiles and projects. Each of you has a page of your own, and every project gets its own shareable page.
• A community that supports each other. You follow designers you admire, like their work, and have started leaving cheers like "Well done" and "Hire this person!"
• Invites that keep it real. Roster is invite-only, so every member is a real person, with no spam and no filler.

What's new for you

We've been shipping steadily, and a lot has landed recently:

• The Roster. A members-only directory where hiring managers and recruiters can browse top talent right on the site, filter by skills and experience, and reach out directly.
• The jobs board. Open design roles from verified hiring teams. Apply on their site, or connect with the hiring team through Roster. See open jobs.
• Hiring accounts. Anyone hiring can get a private account to browse The Roster. They never see your email unless you accept their request.
• Cheers. Quick, friendly compliments you can leave on any project, with nothing to moderate.
• More invites. Used your invite? You can ask for more right from your profile.
