Why does Roster exist?
Roster is a list of designers looking for work, and the goal is simple: get them hired. Share your portfolio, build a following, and let the people hiring find you.
How do I get an invite?
Join the waitlist with your name, email, and a link to your work, then confirm your email from the message we send (check your spam folder if you don't see it). We review signups and send invites in batches, so watch your inbox, and your spam folder, for yours. Designers of every level and discipline are welcome.
Why is it invite-only?
To keep it real. Invites let us keep out spam, bots, and AI-generated fake profiles. It isn't about being exclusive. If you're a real designer, you belong here.
Is Roster free?
Yes. It's free for designers and recruiters while we launch. Down the road we may add optional extras, like promoted profiles and jobs, but joining and showing your work stays free.
What can I put on my profile?
A portfolio gallery of your best work (images to start), plus your resume. Longer case studies are planned for later. You also set what you're open to (full time, part time, contract) and where you want to work, including remote.
How do recruiters reach me?
Verified recruiters can browse the roster and get in touch. You decide what shows on your profile.
How do designers get featured?
The most followed designers move up to the front-page list of designers for hire.
What does "Hired" on a profile mean?
It means that designer landed a role through Roster. Getting hired is the whole point, so we celebrate it. When you land a job, you can mark your profile Hired.
What can I do right now?
